SUMMER
Ortisei is situaded at approx. 1200 mts. in the heart of the spectacular Dolomites. Throughout the summer months you can enjoy many activities such as mountain climbing with vie ferrate, mountain biking and hiking. All with well marked paths and roads. Ortisei also offers a large public swimming pool with many different styles of sauna. Other activities recomended by our tourist office:

WINTER
Val Gardena and the surrounding valleys are a skiers paradise. 450 lifts/800 miles of pistes takes in all that the Dolomites have to offer, not forgetting the famous Sella Ronda Tour a must for all. For the less energetic, Val Gardena alone offers 82 lifts/120 miles of skiing up to a height of 2518 mts. The alpine schools also offer ice climbing and snow shoe hikes. Only a 400 mts. Walk on the “Luis Trenker”path, once the train route through Val Gardena, will take you to the tunnel which links the town centre or Seceda, your nearest lift station.
